Making sure of the gadgets and accessories: Ensure that, all the batteries are fully charged, carry spares for whatever you may feel is necessary and cannot be done without.

Essential weather clothing, but not in excess: You can make sure that you have everything in place, with a good sturdy pair of shoes, a sweater, and jacket. Also carry a rain coat or an umbrella for the rains, other essential items are well up to you, however make sure that you do not bulk up in luggage, on the basis of imagined necessity, travelling light is the best policy.

The need to carry toiletries and cosmetics does not need to be stressed on however you should always keep in mind to carry minimal quantities for them. Some of the things that might come in handy while travelling are:

  • First Aid Kit, keeping the essential medicines in case of medical emergencies.
  • Swiss knife, a multipurpose tool, which can aid you in a lot of situations.
  • A journal, to keep a track of things.
  • Sunglasses, to protect you from the glaring sun.
  • A swimsuit, for those urges to explore the waters.
